For all the old school Philly ska fans, "Ruder Than You" is a name you already know. For those that don't, they've been a staple in the Philly ska scene since 1991. The band's Leader Doug Dubrosky, Punk Chris (if you don't know ask somebody), and myself bring you an all-vinyl monthly event that will leave even the most avid aficionados of obscure Jamaican records impressed. Old time ska, rocksteady, jamaican funk and soul is the theme. Two-toned rudeboy dress is encouraged. Every 4th tuesday at Tattoo Mom (530 South st. Philly).
